I recently discovered that my CNC plasma machine was cutting very crappy due to worn out tracks.  I was able to get some high precision, bearing machine tracks from a local shop and decided to give it an update.  I added all new track and a new carrier to make it work the way I wanted to instead of the way it felt like.

As a test I chose a complicated graphic that I had been playing around with for the grill of my truck and had it cut it out.  It worked out very well.  Before, the machine would have cut through the small separating spaces between holes and it would have looked crappy.  The cuts it made were very smooth and the control was great.
