This project sort of fell in my lap.  I trades some suspension parts for this sandrail frame and after looking around my shop I realized that I had everything I needed to put it all together.  Since I wanted to run something at a local event and it would take a good deal of time to put any other toy together I tackled this job.

The frame came with the controls, pedals, wiring, a console and shifter.  It also came with swingaxle rear suspension and no front.  I had an engine that I had assembled out of other crap laying around so it got earmarked for the rail.  I also had a lifted kingpin beam and all the stuff to do an IRS conversion.  Throw on some seats and tires and I was good to go, right?
